Watering/Hose End
It is important when using watering devices that you are aware of electrical devices and outlets.
DO NOT SPRAY WATER INTO AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET. SEVERE ELECTRICAL SHOCK COULD RESULT.
Watering devices and accessories are intended for outdoor and cold water use only, unless marked otherwise. Do not use when freezing may occur.

Garden Hose
Gilmour hose is NOT for use with hot water, unless marked as Commercial or Industrial, and for use with hot water.
Drinking water from any hose is NOT recommended.

Tank Sprayers

Pruning Tools
Do NOT use pruning tools near electrical wires. Do NOT climb trees. Do NOT use ladders, chairs or other makeshifts to prune the upper branches. Use long-handled pruners or contact a professional arborist.
Use only while standing on dry ground. Always wear eye protection that complies with ANSI standard Z87.1. Failure to heed all safety warnings and instructions could result in serious bodily injury or property damage.

What is Proposition 65.

Proposition 65 is The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 which was passed as a voter initiative by the people of California. Gilmour labels its products, when applicable, to remain in compliance with California's Proposition 65 Act. Proposition 65 does not focus on known risk factors for human cancer or reproductive toxicity. It only relies on lists of chemicals—information on many of whose negative health effects is based on high-dose animal tests and is not directly relevant to typical human exposures.
Proposition 65 is essentially a "right-to-know" law that seeks to provide consumers with information.
